Hello Insiders! Today we’re back with Conor who’s going to deep dive into our monetization policies and give us more info about what can be monetized on YT and what can’t. None of our policies are changing, we’re just giving more info to help clarify our existing policies.
As a reminder- there are Community Guidelines, and Ads Friendly Guidelines. Community Guidelines outline what is allowed on YouTube and Ads Friendly Guidelines outline what content can earn advertiser revenue. Content must be compliant with both Community Guidelines and Ads Friendly Guidelines to stay on YT and monetize.
