Like all proper studies, HRM needs a discussion of ideal types. This gives us structure and a basis of comparison.
This video attempts to set up a standard reference for comparison between different approaches to HRM.
The concept of an ideal approach to human resource management, may then be used as a reference point against which all other approaches maybe measured. Given the diversity of industry and commerce, this task is extremely difficult.
