Hello Insiders, today we’re talking about a more serious topic- Creator Responsibility. We want to make sure we’re as transparent as we can be about any policy YouTube has that affects creators. To be clear- no new policies are being implemented- we wanted to dive a bit deeper on a topic that was introduced back in 2018 and falls under the umbrella of our Community Guidelines.
This policy has to do with creator influence on and off the platform and how a creator’s actions can potentially have negative implications for the entire community. Examples of this are rare, but it’s worth reviewing the idea of responsibility and the role creators have on YouTube.
