Hi, I’m Alexa and this is a Marketing Minute on workplace culture.

As an employer, your employees are one of your greatest assets. So, it is critical to make sure that when they come into work everyday, they are inspired, motivated, and comfortable.

So, here are some tips for creating a strong workplace culture.

First, help employees establish goals. Not only will establishing goals help your employees cement what they want to achieve, it also helps you, as the employer, figure out how to help them achieve those goals by providing opportunities for growth.

Second, make sure to give, and ask for feedback regularly. Giving feedback to employees helps them understand where they are excelling and where they can improve. But also make sure to regularly ask employees if there is anything you could be doing better in your managing role.

Finally, provide meaning to your employees. Employees crave meaning and purpose in their work. Create a mission statement and core values and make sure these are communicated to employees.
