Understanding Facebook ad attribution is really important if you’re going to succeed with Facebook advertising. Without understanding how it works and knowing how to adjust it, it’s almost impossible to analyse the success of your ads.
For example, did someone click your ad before becoming a lead or a customer? Or did they simply view it in the news feed and keep scrolling? This is the difference between view through attribution and click through attribution. You can find this out by adjusting the Facebook attribution window in side the ad manager.
Facebook automatically defaults to a 28 day click through attribution window or 1 day view. But often that’s not the best way to look at your Facebook analytics and you’ll want to change it. This video will show you how to do that.
